Job Description SummaryJob Description SummaryThe Surgical Technologist, under the direction of the Registered Nurse and the Nurse Manager, handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she has an understanding of the surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the surgical procedure and is maintains constant vigilance of the sterile field.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Certificate or Associate’s Surgical Tech degree OR 3 years experience as a Surgical Technologist in lieu of the certificate or degree requirement.
